Fedola Family Run 2025: A Celebration of Community and Charity

On Saturday, October 25th, the vibrant streets of Costa Adeje came alive as families and athletes gathered for the fourth edition of the Fedola Family Run 2025. This event, organized by the Fedola Group, attracted nearly a thousand participants and successfully raised €18,000, all of which will be donated to three local Canarian NGOs. Participants navigated the challenging Ocean Cross circuit, which features a mix of asphalt and sandy terrain along Playa del Duque, catering to both amateur runners and seasoned athletes. The scenic route not only tested the runners’ endurance but also showcased the stunning beauty of the Canary Islands.

Aday Salas and Marta Arnay emerged as the champions of the 10 km race, while Alejandro Rodríguez and Diana Pérez claimed victory in the 5 km category. Their achievements highlighted the impressive talent present in the local athletic community, as the event was part of the Tenerife Athletics Federation circuit. She emphasized the satisfaction derived from knowing that the funds raised will benefit various vulnerable groups, including single mothers, migrants, and the elderly. The donations will support three organizations: the Anchieta Social Reintegration Association, the Nahia Assistance Association, and the Quesada Sánchez Family Foundation, all of which focus on inclusion and support initiatives on the islands. The event concluded with a medal presentation and the distribution of charity cheques, attended by notable figures such as Manuel Luis Pérez, Councillor for Territorial Policy of Adeje, and Juan Hernández, General Commander of the Civil Guard in the Canaries.
